Frequently Asked Questions
Here is a collection of the most frequently asked questions we receive, along with our answers. Please don’t hesitate to contact us anytime. We would love to answer any further questions you might have.
Q: Will you be listing my house on the MLS or actually buying it?
A: We are professional home buyers, which means we buy Atlanta houses that meet our purchasing criteria. From there we may repair the house and resell it to another homeowner or keep it as a rental ourselves.
Q: Do you pay a fair price for houses and properties in Georgia?
A: Our process of buying houses includes paying a price that is below market value so we can later resell the property at a profit. In our experience, sellers that are looking for a quick and easy sell aren’t necessarily expecting a large “windfall” on the property. Instead, they appreciate that we offer them cash for their house, we close very quickly with no waiting for financing, and sellers do not need to spend any effort or expense to fix up the property. If you see the value in getting your house sold fast, contact us today to see if we can come to a fair win-win price.

Q: How do you determine the price to offer on my house?
A: Our process is straightforward: we look at the location of the house, what repairs and upgrades are needed, the current condition of the property, and the values of comparable houses sold in the area. We take all of this information into consideration to come up with a fair price that works for both of us.
Q: Do you charge any fees or commissions?
A: When you work with Atlanta Homebuying Network, there are NO fees or commissions, and we’ll often pay for the closing costs, too! Unlike selling with a traditional real estate agent, we don’t make our money by charging you hidden fees or hefty commissions. Instead, we make our money after we pay for repairs on the house and sell it for a profit.
Q: How are you different from a real estate agent?
A: Real estate agents list properties to try and find a prospective buyer, and then take a percentage of the sale price as their commission. An agent’s commission can be anywhere from 3 to 6% of the sale price of your house. For example: if it’s a $100,000 house, you’ll pay between $3,000 – $6,000 in commissions to an agent.
If you have the time and patience to wait, and your house is in “pretty” condition, agents can provide a great service. But at Atlanta Homebuying Network, we’re different. We’re not agents, we’re direct home buyers. Since we’re the one buying the house from you and we don’t have to rely on bank financing with its many requirements, we can make a decision to buy your house within 24 hours and close on your house in 14 days. Even if your house needs repairs and upgrades, we don’t care! We buy Atlanta area houses as-is.
Q: Is there any obligation when I submit my info?
A: There is absolutely zero obligation to you. Tell us about your property and let us make you a fair all-cash offer. From there, it’s 100% your decision on whether or not you’d like to sell your house or property directly.
